Introduction

This privacy policy applies to the Aura: AI Note Taker app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by ANAS BOUKETIR (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application does not require user account registration and does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as name, email address, or phone number.

Certain non-personal technical information may be collected automatically when you use the Application, including:

• Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Device type and operating system
• App usage statistics
• Crash and diagnostic data

When using AI features (such as voice transcription, summarization, or chat), audio recordings and text inputs are securely transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing in order to generate the requested results.

The Service Provider does not sell user data and does not use user content for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services to provide core functionality such as AI processing and advertising. When you use AI features (such as voice transcription, summarization, or chat), your audio recordings and/or text input may be securely transmitted to external AI service providers for processing.

These third-party providers process data solely for the purpose of generating the requested results. The Service Provider does not sell user data and does not use user content for advertising purposes. All data is transmitted securely using encrypted HTTPS connections.

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies regarding data handling. Below are the links to the Privacy Policies of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

• OpenRouter (AI Processing)
• Google AdMob (Advertising)

Disclosure of Information

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
• when disclosure is necessary to protect rights, user safety, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests;
• with trusted service providers who process data on behalf of the Service Provider and who are obligated to maintain confidentiality.

Data Retention Policy

The Application does not store user audio recordings or conversation content on developer-controlled servers.

User data transmitted to third-party AI providers is processed only for the duration necessary to generate the requested output, in accordance with their respective Privacy Policies.

Advertising-related data may be retained by Google AdMob according to their Privacy Policy.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at anasbouketir@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider at anasbouketir@gmail.com so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
